Gone are the days when kids enjoyed playing
with manually operated toys. Now, modern battery-operated toys are the hottest sellers. Toy manufacturing
companies have over the years brought out faster, smoother and swifter maneuvering cars and other
toys.
Exhausted with ideas of
electronic toys on land, they have come up with ground breaking solutions. Toys that would not be restricted to
the limits of the ground, and infringing the boundaries of two-dimensional space, they would be able to soar
above its owner and be able to show the ultimate maneuvers and smooth twist and turn skills.
With immediate and
breathtaking acceleration it would be the envy of everyone who is not in possession of that toy. This toy is the
micro remote control helicopter, or micro RC helicopter.
Previously, owing to the
larger size of the integrated circuits, it was difficult to incorporate them in most electronic devices. Hence,
the RC helicopters used to be quite large. Even the transmission of signals beyond a certain radius was not
possible.
But with the improvements
in technology with every passing day and the more complex and smaller components being fabricated in a small
amount of space, the manufacturing of handy, extremely small, light and durable micro RC helicopters are
available.
Micro Helicopter / Mini
Helicopter
The micro RC helicopter,
also known as a mini RC helicopter (sometimes with the “RC” left
out), took a lot of time to come out of the drawing board for mass production because of its massive number of
electrical and electronic components.
These mini / micro
helicopters also needed to be provided with a single coaxial rotor. The blades design and structure and its
proportionality with the body is based on careful study of various real life fighter helicopters to give it the
ultimate aerodynamic advantage and accuracy while swerving through tight spaces.
The micro RC helicopter
is sent a radio transmission from the remote control. The signal is of a very high frequency of around 2.4
GHz, so it does not interfere with any nearby frequencies in the household or neighborhood. Nowadays, instead of
sending radio signals, infrared light is often used in these mini helicopters.
These revolutionary micro
helicopter toys were first manufactured for kids to learn how to fly helicopters, but now seeing the sales
charts and its popularity, even grown-ups have taken to these remote controlled toys. The mini RC helicopter has
extremely efficient aerodynamic shape. The coaxial single rotor puts in enough power to keep the micro
helicopter aloft in stable household conditions for hours.
The miniature size (it fits
into one’s palm, as the pictures show) of the micro RC helicopter enables it to become the ultimate household
toy with minimum risks. Considering its stability and ability of sudden spurts and hair raising turns and
maneuvers, it’s a thrill not only to own and command its movement with the remote control, but also to watch it
soar with grace up in the sky.
Though just a toy, thanks
to being modeled on a fighter helicopter, these
mini helicopter models have the look and the feel of the real world
stuff, similar to many RC airplanes on the
market. Available in various colors and multiple designs, these micro helicopters are a work of art and are definitely an asset and the pride
of its owner. Haven't seen enough pictures yet? Check out these RC heli videos!
